On the 31st December, We celebrated our first watchnight service.  This service was a symbol of our church's commitment to honor God first with our lives.  As we prepared to enter 2010 it is critical that our church pray for our nation and its leaders.  This night we came together to honor God and our nation with prayer and fellowship.

Ordination of Stephen Nesbitt  ~ May 24, 2009

Steve Nesbitt      , a Pennsylvania native, is known for his willing spirit to follow the Will of God. From the day of his salvation, he has shown the honest desire to remain in God's perfect Will, and has a love for God's children. Steve has served in his local church through the good times and the bad.

With a strong work ethic, a large amount of faith, and a heart for people, Steve has reminded his friends and co-workers of God's order for us to, "Run with patience the race that is set before us..." Having served in the Bus Ministry, Nursing Home Ministry, teaching Sunday school, preaching the Gospel, serving as a Trustee of Cross County Baptist Church as well as Treasurer; Steve not only provides for his family, he also serves us all as a Manager for the United States government. Steve has done much for the work of God. And now, he has surrendered his life to full-time ministry in God's will, wherever it may lead.

Our prayers and thoughts remain with you, Steve. God bless you as you continue on in the Will of God.
